Four styles and starting points
- The structure reader: You tend to map the people, moving parts, and the next hinge point. Begin with line positions and relations between hexagrams. (Start with hexagram 3)
- The values checker: You care whether a choice fits the person you want to be. Begin with the core text, then place its language beside your own trade-offs. (Start with hexagram 15)
- The small-step starter: You prefer one modest action and real feedback to long deliberation. Record each attempt and review the pattern later. (Start with hexagram 1)
- The retrospective reader: You trust careful review of the road already taken. A journal and regular return visits give that habit a durable shape. (Start with hexagram 24)
